Stockholm trio VERO has been making waves over the past few years with their nineties-infused alt-pop, drawing attention from the likes of The Line of Best Fit and CLASH while making their mark on the Swedish music scene. After a few singles and a debut EP with Sony Music Sweden the band were in the process of completing the follow-up when they were suddenly dropped. Torn contract in hand, something new was born, and the band finished their new EP within a week.

Signing to Stockholm's PNKSLM Recordings, VERO are set to introduce themselves properly this spring. On their new EP '90s alt-rock is paired with NEU! -synths, drum machines and wall of sound in a fearless way that has come to define the band. The trio of Julia Boman, Clara Gyökeres and Amanda Eddestål experiment with genres and references, challenging the idea of what a modern band is supposed to be – this time with artistic freedom.
